2020 has seen an unprecedented amount of attention for organizations to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. All in an overwhelming year that has included civil unrest, the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic downturn and a polarized political environment not seen in modern U.S. history. Why is this important now and where does one begin?

This session will introduce current research and resources on the value DE&I bring to organizations and the importance of cultural competency in their success. The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners is addressing DE&I within its leadership, membership and working alongside councils to support their efforts to help address inequities in the field of charitable gift planning.
