The Stelter Company is a leading source for gift planning marketing for the nonprofit community. Founded in 1962, Stelter currently serves more than 1,500 organizations nationally with a staff of over 100 individuals.

While Nathan wears many hats at Stelter, his primary concentration is on overseeing Stelter’s consulting team and using his expertise and experience to strategize with all of Stelter’s account executives and key accounts to develop distinct marketing solutions that meet each nonprofit’s unique planned giving needs.

He has been quoted in Planned Giving Today, Advancing Philanthropy and other trade publications and is a past board member of the National Capital Gift Planning Council (Washington, DC) and current member of the Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council.

This presentation will provide a multi-dimensional view from the latest 2016 U.S. Healthy Aging Database® study on elements of healthy aging and how market adjacencies may impact the how, when and why of charitable giving marketing communications.  We’ll look at how donors prefer to learn about organizations and the vehicles best suited to communicate by nonprofit sector.

 This presentation will help you to:

  • Know the trends and which words inspire giving
  • Build donor trust by applying simple changes to your print and digital marketing for both small and large non profits based on national research
  • Know which communication channel(s) best resonate with donors
  • Measure the effectiveness of your marketing
