Davenport University – Executive Vice President for Alumni and Development

Reporting to the President, the incoming Executive Vice President (EVP) for Alumni and Development will inherit an advancement program that has seen recent growth and success, including the completion of the University’s first comprehensive campaign, supporting the new Donald W. Maine College of Business Building, a new College of Urban Education, and student scholarships. To realize its vision and take Davenport into a new campaign, the EVP must be a strategic builder as well as provide inclusive leadership to continue to develop the team, important relationships with donors, and further enhance the culture of philanthropy.

Western Theological Seminary – Associate Director of Development

In support of the mission of Western Theological Seminary to “prepare Christians called by God to lead the church in mission,” the associate director of development is primarily responsible for effective fundraising from a targeted group of donors through prospect research, donor relationships, and oversight of seminary advancement events. The position is full-time in the Development office, reporting to Andy Bast, Director of Development.

Pine Rest Foundation – Executive Director

The Executive Director of the Pine Rest Foundation leads, directs, and manages a comprehensive resource development program to advance the mission and goals of Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and the Pine Rest Foundation. The executive leader in this role supports the work of Pine Rest by enhancing relationships with internal and external constituencies (including patients, donors, volunteers, staff, administrators, physicians/clinicians, and community leaders) to increase overall involvement and fundraising outcomes. Leadership of the Foundation includes responsibility for the planning and execution of annual, major, and planned giving programs, corporate and foundation relations, campaigns, donor stewardship, and overall Foundation operations, as well as Director level oversight for the Rustic Market Thrift Store which is owned and operated by Pine Rest. The Executive Director must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm about the program and the Pine Rest organization.

Ottawa County Parks Foundation – Foundation Manager

The Foundation Manager is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of all fund development activities for the foundation office.  This position works in close collaboration with the Board, Parks Department staff, and volunteers.  Duties include database management, event management, donor reports and communication, and project-based work.   Office-based, part-time professional position, averaging 25 hours per week with occasional night/weekend hours.
